INSTALLATION:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

THIS IS A LOOSE FILE INSTALL:

- Unzip the contents of either the SKIES-HR.zip or SKIES-SR.zip files into your \rFactor\GameData\Locations folder.
- You will end up with a "SKIES" folder in your Locations directory.
- Copy the files from the SKIES directory into your locations folder.
- Rename those files as follows:

DAY_OC_430pm_HR.dds --> SKY02.dds
DAY_PC_1pm_HR.dds --> SKY01.dds (only one day sky at a time)
DAY_PC_1130am_HR.dds --> SKY01.dds (only one day sky at a time)
SunR_PC_730am_HR.dds --> SKY00.dds
SunS_PC_630pm_HR.dds --> SKY03.dds

- if you downloaded my free sky, rename it to DAY_PC_1245pm_HR.dds and place it into the "SKIES" folder.

NOTES:

- This package contains the SR versions of the skies in SkyPak 1.
- The reason for the file renaming is for the functionality of a utility to be released in the future.
- Monitor calibration is also crucial for representing a realistic environment. I highly recommend you set your monitor's colour temperature to the graphic standard of 6500k, and also calibrate your monitor using Adobe Gamma, or other programs or information pages you can find online. While it may take a week to get used to your new settings, you will undoubtedly come to see that 9300k has far too blue a white point. Under 6500k your photographs and games will look better than ever. So be sure not to dispell the initial change as "too red" or "too orange". Give your eyes and brain time to adapt.
